Amy Hirst-Webber

General Psychologist – Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) (Honours), Edith Cowan University. 

Amy is a warm, friendly and approachable psychologist dedicated to fostering a safe and non-judgmental space for her clients. She has a therapeutic approach that is client-centred and strengths-based. Amy has worked within government-funded mental health programs, the disability sector and not-for-profit organisations, which has allowed her to gain experience across a wide range of presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, adjustment to life changes, interpersonal difficulties, family concerns, grief and loss, substance misuse and trauma.

Amy also has experience working with ADHD, and this is an area of interest for her. She utilises a wide range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and tailors her interventions to meet each client’s unique needs. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Schema therapy, and Interpersonal therapy.
